Staying at Hotel La Badia Di Orvieto felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved piece of history. The 12th-century abbey, with its stunning views over the Umbria hills, enveloped us in an enchanting atmosphere where we could easily lose ourselves-not to mention the splendid pool and tennis courts that provided endless fun for my three sons during our Christmas getaway. The staff's warmth was palpable, making every meal with local wine a cherished moment, particularly the delightful breakfast. While the modern amenities of air conditioning and free WiFi were appreciated, it was the brilliant mix of historic charm and comfort that made our stay so special. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee in the shaded gardens or walking the steep path into Orvieto, every corner of the property offered captivating sights and serenity. I wholeheartedly recommend this magical hotel for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience steeped in character and attentive service.
